Experiences verified

With the explicit consent of the candidate, Aequivalent confirms work experiences directly with former employers. Depending on the client’s verification programme, this may be the last two jobs, all jobs within the last 5 years (but at least 2 employers) or all jobs within the last 10 years, which are indicated on the resume. Aequivalent contacts employers by telephone to identify and qualify the referee.

Employment confirmation

Aequivalent’s standard questionnaire for employment verification includes the verification of the following employment details: job title, start date, end date, activity rate, type of contract, reason for leaving, as well as disciplinary, integrity or other potential issues against rehiring the candidate.

Character Reference (optional)

Additional character references can be performed to obtain more information about the content of the role performed, the personality of the candidate (general description), performance (quality, quantity, respect of deadlines) and relationships with colleagues and superiors.

Employment Gap Analysis

Within the multi-year verification programmes, Aequivalent performs a gap analysis in order to identify periods that are not indicated on the CV. The candidate is requested to document these periods (for example with course attendance certificates, unemployment office attestations, travel documents, etc …). The main objectif is to assure the comprehensiveness of the work experience indicated on the CV.
