For particularly sensitive Bug Bounty programmes, extending this level of assurance to external Security Researchers can provide an additional layer of security.
Our solution
Aequivalent complements GObugfree’s existing selection process with independent, data protection-compliant Background Checks for selected Security Researchers participating in private Bug Bounty programmes. Checks are carried out exclusively with the researchers’ consent and follow a consistent, transparent process.
Depending on the requirements, relevant information can be independently verified, including sanctions and watchlists, address history and, where appropriate, financial and criminal record information. The result: greater transparency and a reliable, documented basis for engaging external security experts.
